History comes to life in this interactive presentation led by educator and historian Roy Hensel. Through a collection of authentic artifacts, participants will explore what life was like more than 100 years ago and learn how historians use everyday objects to better understand the past.

With over 40 years of teaching experience, Hensel combines storytelling and hands-on learning to create an engaging experience for all ages. This is a great opportunity to see, touch, and discover pieces of history up close.

Compete in the Legacy of Liberty Pedal Tractor Pull, hosted by Play 'N' Hooky Pedal Tractor Pulls of Evansville, Indiana. Children ages 3–12 will have the opportunity to test their strength and endurance by pedaling a tractor while pulling a weighted sled.

Competitors will be divided into age groups, with trophies awarded to top finishers in each division. Spectators are encouraged to cheer on the pullers as they take on this classic fair and festival favorite.

Filled with quick thinking, creativity, and a few laughs along the way, American History Improv offers a fun, family-friendly look at history through the imagination of local youth performers from Crider Performing Arts Studio.

Sample entries from the Legacy of Liberty Apple Pie Contest during the public tasting at Fohs Hall. Contestants of all ages will be competing for top honors with homemade apple pies judged on appearance, taste, creativity, and overall impression.

The tasting offers a chance to see how the pies stack up and enjoy a classic American dessert while celebrating the community's baking traditions.

The program will feature patriotic music by the West Kentucky Youth Choir and Community Band, historical readings, and the dedication of the Crittenden County Revolutionary War Monument and Marker. Kentucky Supreme Court Justice Shea Nickell will serve as the featured speaker for this special occasion.
