Friday Night Schedule & Location Updates
This weekend's America 250: Legacy of Liberty celebration in Marion will go forward, with some schedule adjustments and venue changes due to the weather.
The Parade has been cancelled. American History Trivia will continue at 7:30 p.m. inside Fohs Hall. The Living History campfire presentation will be moving inside to Fohs Hall.
Any weather-related changes this evening will be made as conditions warrant.
Several outdoor activities will be moved indoors. Children's activities and vendors will be located inside the Crittenden County Middle School gymnasium.
The vintage 1800s baseball game at the park is also expected to be played as scheduled, unless additional rainfall tomorrow forces a change.
All events and programs previously scheduled for indoors will remain on schedule, but check the latest information on the website to see if site location has been altered.
PARADE CANCELLED
Due to storm conditions and the potential for severe weather during parade hours, the Integrity Insurance Legacy of Liberty Parade has been cancelled.
The safety of parade participants, volunteers, spectators, and public safety personnel is our top priority. While we are disappointed by this decision, current weather conditions make it necessary.
We appreciate your understanding and support. Please continue to follow Legacy of Liberty channels for any additional event updates. Stay safe and thank you for being part of this community celebration.
